How-to Guides
How to properly wash your car at EUROWASH
7 steps to a perfectly clean car
Preparation & parking
Park your vehicle in the center of the bay so you can access the front and rear. Turn off the engine, close windows and remove the antenna if detachable. Prepare your payment — coins, card or Monyx Wallet.
Wheels & bugs (optional)
If your wheels are very dirty or you have bugs on the hood, start with the Wheels & Bugs program. Spray the chemicals and let them work for 1–2 minutes — they dissolve dried bugs and brake dust.
Active foam
Spray active foam over the entire car — bottom to top so the foam flows over the whole surface. Apply on a dry or slightly damp car for best effect. Let it sit for at least 30 seconds. The foam softens dirt and protects the paint from scratching during the next steps.
Shampoo with high pressure
Switch to Shampoo. Systematically wash the entire car with the high-pressure hose — top to bottom. Hold the hose 30–50 cm from the surface. Pay attention to sills, wheel arches, door edges and mirrors — these are the most commonly missed spots.
Rinse
Thoroughly rinse off all foam and shampoo with clean water. Again, top to bottom. Check sills and the rear bumper — leftover foam collects there most often.
Waxing
Wax creates a protective layer that repels water and protects against UV rays. Spray evenly over the entire body. Wax also helps drying — water runs off faster.
Final rinse with osmosis water
The last and most important step. Osmosis water is mineral-free — the car dries without spots or limescale. Never skip this step. For a perfect result, you can polish the car at home with a microfiber cloth.
What each program does
Active Foam
Nano foam softens dried dirt. Apply bottom to top and let it work.
Shampoo Wash
Shampoo with a brush thoroughly cleans the body. Work bottom to top.
Rinse
Rinse removes foam and shampoo from the body. Use after every wash.
Wax
Protective wax shields the paint from weather. Always follow with final rinse.
Final Rinse (Osmosis)
Osmotic membrane filters the water — car dries without spots. Mandatory after waxing.
Rims & Insects
Special program for cleaning wheel rims and removing insects from the body.
Vacuum
Professional vacuums with various attachments for a perfect interior clean.
Pro tips
- A full wash takes 10–15 minutes. Don't skip steps — each program has its purpose.
- Never spray high pressure directly on paint from less than 20 cm — you can damage the finish.
- In summer, wash in the shade or during cooler hours. Chemicals dry too fast on hot paint and leave marks.
- Regular washing (once a week) is cheaper and faster than one big wash per month.
- For the interior, use the vacuum and foam carpet cleaner (available Apr–Oct at Vranov and Prešov locations).
Common mistakes
- Skipping active foam — without it, shampoo scrapes dirt across the paint.
- Washing in reverse direction (bottom to top) — dirty water runs over clean surfaces.
- Skipping osmosis — without it, mineral spots remain on the car.
- Holding the hose too close — high pressure under 20 cm damages paint and seals.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I run out of time while washing?
Simply add more payment — time extends immediately. No need to change programs, you continue where you left off.
How much does a wash cost?
A complete wash (foam + shampoo + wax + osmosis) costs approximately 3–5 €. With Monyx Wallet, every 5th wash is free.
Can I wash a van or truck?
Yes. Vranov (both locations), Prešov and Trebišov have bays for larger vehicles including trucks.
Is the car wash open in winter?
Yes, 4 of 5 locations are NONSTOP — including winter. In extreme frost (below -10 °C) we recommend checking on-site conditions.
Will high pressure damage my paint?
No, if you maintain a 30–50 cm distance. Our equipment is set to safe pressure for standard vehicles. However, avoid spraying directly on damaged areas, adhesive tape or aftermarket wraps.
How does the foam carpet cleaner work?
The cleaner applies cleaning foam to seats, carpets and upholstery. After applying, vacuum up the foam. Available April to October at Vranov (Hlavná, Čemerné) and Prešov locations.
